Brittany is currently a pre-nursing major and plans to attend the St. David's School of Nursing at Texas State University in Round Rock to obtain a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. Her long term goal is to get her Master's Degree as a Nurse Practitioner with a certification in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Brittany is a graduate of Hyde Park Baptist High School in Austin and has attended the University of Texas at Arlington.

Brittany began gymnastics and dance at age five and began cheerleading at age six when she joined the Comets All-Star Team at Capital Cheer in Austin.  Her involvement with and love for cheerleading lasted throughout her high school years.  Brittany joined the Austin Cheer Factory All-Stars in 2002 and continued to pursue the sport of competitive completive cheerleading.  She was a member of multiple Level 2, 3 and 4 teams and has competed in over 50 competitive cheer events in Texas as well as nationally between 2002 and 2008.  Brittany’s teams won 13 National Championship titles overall, including the coveted National Cheerleader’s Association (NCA) title.  In 2005, Brittany’s team at Austin Cheer Factory competed in the Junior Olympics in New Orleans and won the National Champion and Grand Champion titles in cheerleading.  Simultaneous to competitive cheerleading, Brittany also was a middle school cheerleader at Shoreline Christian School in the 7th Grade and an 8th Grade cheerleader at Hyde Park Baptist School.  Brittany choreographed winning competition routines for her Hyde Park middle school team, winning first place and a choreography award.  Brittany was a Varsity Cheerleader during her four years of high school at Hyde Park Baptist High School and was Captain of an 18 member squad during her senior year.  She choreographed a variety of school and competition routines for Hyde Park Varsity and led her school team to multiple first-place championship titles.

A love of choreography and dance led Brittany to seek her certification as a ballroom dance instructor at the Bronze Level and is currently pursuing her Silver Level Certification.  She currently teaches ballroom dance part-time including teaching a class to the Senior citizens at the Chasco YMCA. Ballroom Dancing is her passion and loves sharing her passion by teaching others the joy of dancing.

Brittany has an excellent consistency in her dance practices and is enthusiastic about working with students, especially at the beginner and intermediate levels.  She has strong confidence, flexibility, physical fitness, stamina and perseverance, as well as patience with her students no matter what level.  She is very personable and welcoming quickly putting the student at ease.  However, her most important quality is her sincere interest in seeing her students succeed at learning to dance and loving it.  She will be your biggest cheerleader!

Brittany has been active in her community and has been involved since 2008 with the March of Dimes where she has participated in the annual March for Babies raising over $1,500 in sponsorships to help premature babies.  Brittany has previously volunteered at Dell Children’s Hospital in their summer teen program and at Scott & White Hospital in Round Rock.  She currently volunteers at Seton Williamson Medical Center in Round Rock. Brittany lives in Round Rock and her hobbies include travel, music, dance, and spending time with her friends and family.  She is engaged and plans to get married in 2014.
